As SEEN In British Vogue
It is a huge honour and privilege for my painting ‘Cherry Blossom’ to be included in the August edition of ‘British Vogue’. Within the hallowed pages of this illustrious magazine my paintings have been featured in this month’s ‘Vogue’s Gallery’.
This edition named ‘Reset’, explores the idea that we have all had to ‘reset’ our thinking during this tumultuous time and perhaps rethink our priorities. It has forced us all to slow our pace, to perhaps take time to enjoy the beautiful things in life, to re-evaluate what really is important to us and to re-connect with nature.
As an artist the natural beauty of the world has always been an integral part of my work and where I look for inspiration but during these uncertain times the flora and fauna that I see every day has taken on more importance to me than ever. My garden and the surrounding landscape of the Quantock Hills has become my refuge and a place I turn to for solace and contemplation.
